CFAT Scoring

How you score on the CFAT determine which military occupations you qualify for. For some occupations the “cutoff” score is based on the overall CFAT score, however, many occupations demand a minimum score within one of the three test categories as well.

The required scores for each occupation have not been made public and officially you cannot even be told your own score, although some recruiters will tell you if you ask. What you will be told is whether you are suitable or not suitable for your selected occupation.

While rewrites of the CFAT are possible, the rules for such are complicated and as a minimum you will be required to wait a certain period before you can take the test again. Therefore it is important that you do nothing less than the best you can do.
